Line Rider

Time to own up: are you the person in the office who is masquerading as an office worker and behind that grim grey suited exterior harbors a secret outlandish fantasy to be a professional snowboarder or BMX rider? Or maybe you’re always on-line and when the boss walks past you sneakily hit a special combination on your keyboard which sends a message to the chat recipient saying BOSS! Good! If that’s you then prepare yourself for an article of fun-overload. Yes, we are talking about, if you haven’t heard of it, the awesome online game Linerider.
Linerider is, quite simply, not just any online game, my friend. I am not a fan of the conventional game, so I should know. Regular online action-style games are fine for a few minutes but eventually loose their mojo. But Linerider is different! It’s mojo on tap! You get to draw your own track out with a line and then ride that puppy! What could be better?!
The best feature about Linerider is how you have total control of everything. And it may sound like a simple game, but some people out there are—and don’t ask me how they do it, I myself am not that much of a nerd—creating incredible tracks which contain numerous loop the loops, massive jumps and weird looking mentalist ramps.
Did I mention Linerider is free? Oh, well it is! You don’t even need to download any software to run it. All you have to do is type Linerider into a search engine and you’ll be presented with the many different versions on offer. Click on one, watch a demo, and you’ll be away having an awesome time in minutes!
By the way, before I go everyone should really check out this enigin PLC blog that I just found, it should kill another 20 minutes when your boss isn’t looking over your shoulder!
